Adherents to Classical Theism

     More than eighteen centuries have passed since the true understanding of God held by the early Christian Church was corrupted.  Principles of Greek philosophy have so infiltrated the teachings of orthodox Christianity that by now they are viewed, not as an element foreign to the Gospel, but as the foundation itself.  As a result, any attempt to teach a completely biblical concept of God is considered heretical by adherents to classical theism.     -Richard Hopkins
